What Does The Company Intend To Do ?

Now the company is set to contribute to creating a secured society on the basis of its corporate social responsibility under the title “Digital Security Initiative”. The initiative would address four stages of security measures (i) Support Measures, (ii) Counter Measures, (iii) Counter Counter Measures and (iv) Offensive Measures. New tools and concepts developed in various realms of science and technology would be used to cater to the needs of people and the Governments. All kinds of technological services would be rendered to customers using ‘Net-centric Cloud and Physical Infrastructure’. Though this proposal is meant for India, it could be further extended to other friendly nations also.

Digital Security Initiative (DSI) – A Brief Description

This is a well thought over plan for creating a secured society in India which is the need of the hour. As outlined above, four stages of security measures are premeditated to expedite this initiative. Every citizen is expected to hold a ‘Unique Identity Number (Aadhaar’), which in turn will form an ordered triple with his / her ‘Unique Consumer Number (UCN) and Unique Health Vector (UHV) as <UIN, UCN, UHV>. The UIN is not only a number but also is a set of alphanumeric representations of biometric features of an individual. The UIN code will remain almost constant as long as the citizen is alive and it would expire along with the citizen. Right from the birth of an Indian citizen, his / her resource consumption status will be coded in UCN as instantiation of its variables. The UCN vector is a linear array of, say ‘m’ variables, called state variables of a ‘one dimensional cellular automaton’ and each variable will range over a set of numerical values or graphical symbols from an alphabet. Each variable represents a resource consumption parameter. For example, the food consumption of a citizen could be denoted by a variable η_1. The linear array of values at a particular instant of time is called ‘Consumption Configuration (CC)’. CC of a person at a time instant ‘t’ is represented as  Ѡ^t. Let a variable of the UCN be represented as η. Then Ѡ^t at a particular instant of time is a linear array η₁^t, η₂^t, η₃^t,..., η_n-1^t, η_n^t. Ѡ^t+1 at a next instant of time would be a function of the linear array and it is represented as Ѡ^t+1 = F(η₁^t, η₂^t, η₃^t,..., η_n-1^t, η_n^t). All these amount to saying that the consumption status Ѡ^t+1 of a person at a time instant ‘(t+1)’ is a function of Ѡ^t at time instant ‘t’. Improvement or deterioration of a person’s health depends on the ‘consumption rule practiced by the individual. Ѥ^t+1 at a next instant of time would be a function of the linear array and it is represented as Ѥ^t+1 = F(ξ₁^t, ξ, ξ₃^t,..., ξ_n-1^t, ξ_n^t). All these amount to saying that the health status Ѥ^t+1 of a person at a time instant ‘(t+1)’ is a function of Ѥ^t at time instant ‘t’. Improvement or deterioration of a person’s health depends on the ‘rule of life’ practiced by the individual. All these constituents of the triple <UIN, UCN, UHV> decide the psychic and behavioral pattern of a citizen and his / her attitude and approach to fellow citizens. Over and above, six factors such as environmental, geographical, historical, cultural, political and socio-economic situation to which the citizen is exposed would contribute to the behavior of a citizen. Crime is an activity that goes against a common code of conduct accepted by all citizens and stipulated by their political representatives. Criminal activity of a citizen is either self motivated or sponsored as a result of misinterpretation of civic fundamentals. Indeed every society is inextricably tied up with criminal activities. What we want to say here is that study of crimes is essentially study of social dynamics. The basic requirement for such a study is creating a global data base consisting of accurate details of various crimes committed by individuals and groups, be it incidental or organized. We call it as CRIME STATISTICS. Using this data base, one can develop an Artificial Intelligence based software support system for predicting a possible criminal activity and of its type to happen at a particular location at the current moment. Such a system would be a boon to Law and Order people to detect a crime before it happens. Such a system should be used by every one in order to have a safe and secured life. People talk about RAMA RAJYAM where all citizens live comfortably and without fear. This concept of DSI would show a possibility of our mother earth evolve as a happy global village.
